Concrete & Heavy Debris across the Tyler area
Concrete, brick, block and fill dirt are the densest material we haul, and East Texas's characteristic red clay adds to that when it is wet — a load that looks like half a container can weigh more than a full container of household junk. These loads are priced and sized entirely around weight, with a partial-fill container that is sized correctly for tonnage rather than volume.
At a glance
What you get with concrete & heavy debris
- Sized specifically for weight, not volume — often a smaller container filled partway
- Covers concrete, brick, block and East Texas red-clay fill dirt
- Priced by weight with the tonnage allowance stated up front
- Separate from general demolition debris for cleaner disposal routing
Why a smaller container is often the right call
Concrete and brick are so dense that a 10 yard container filled to a fraction of its visual capacity can already be at its tonnage limit. Ordering a 20 or 30 yard for a pure concrete load usually means paying for space you will never use, since the weight allowance stops you first. We will size this honestly rather than upsell a bigger box that looks safer but costs more.
East Texas red clay and fill dirt
Fill dirt and excavated red clay from a foundation, pool or drainage project across Smith County weighs even more when wet — a common condition given East Texas's rainfall. Tell us if the material is wet or has been sitting exposed, since that changes the tonnage math more than people expect.
Keeping concrete out of general debris
Clean concrete and brick are often recyclable at facilities that will not take general construction debris, so keeping a pure concrete load separate from mixed demolition debris can lower disposal costs overall. If your job produces both, ask about running two containers rather than mixing the load.
Suitability

Answers
Concrete & Heavy Debris — your questions answered
Why does a concrete load need a smaller container?
Concrete and brick are so dense that a smaller container often reaches its weight limit before it looks anywhere near full. Ordering a bigger box for a pure concrete load usually just means paying for space you cannot legally fill.
Does wet clay or fill dirt weigh more?
Yes, noticeably. East Texas's red clay holds water well, and a load that has been rained on can weigh substantially more than the same volume dry. Mention it on the call so we size the tonnage correctly.
Can I mix concrete with regular construction debris?
You can, but keeping it separate is usually cheaper — clean concrete and brick are recyclable at facilities that will not take mixed debris, so a separate container can lower your overall disposal cost.
What if my load goes over the weight allowance?
You are charged per ton over the agreed allowance. We would rather size it correctly from the start based on what you tell us than surprise you with an overage charge.
